Thanks for sharing. Your Dad’s plan was excellent! One thing that wasn’t covered by a loved one who shared much/most of what was listed here, was a list of recurring, automatically billed subscriptions. Things like annual renewal of computer programs or online security accounts drafted from a bank account or credit card. These were surprises that came “down the road” in our case. And if you didn’t catch it on a joint credit card you had to go back cancel the subscription & justify a refund.

Even in death Keith provided a path for others. Thank you for sharing, such a KD characteristic duplicated in you. One of the joys of this new day is that geography does not create separation, I still miss your father more than words can express and the interaction we shared. His intuitive insights and prophetic foresight are great losses for which I have found no replacement. I often reflect, without Jesus Christ we would probably never have connected and what a loss that would have been.

He cherished your friendship--his longest friendship in life, in fact, he told me several times.

Miss your Dad, Dave. Thank you for this. I saw this box briefly in the week I stayed with your Mom after his death, and was inspired then to start one of my own. Am ashamed to say it is not nearly ready should I go soon. Thankful for the many ways your Dad led the way for us all and the way his legacy lives on in you.

Dave, appreciated your words, and how you shared your dad's "end of life" notes sent to your family. My parents, both gone now, prepared so well for end of life. Burial plots were bought and paid for decades before, as well as their thoughts on viewing presentation (or no open casket) since they weren't cremated. Dad, who passed 4 years prior to Mom, certainly had the finances in order with accounts up to date. As Dennis and I are about to turn the corner to our 70's, we too, desire to be prepared in caring for things to make an already difficult time for our children, a bit easier and less stressful. We loved Keith and the impact he made not only on us, but especially our son. Grateful that our paths continue to cross with you and Kathy in life and ministry. God is good and faithful.

Good observation... of course, sharing family with others can at times be a multiplication, not a subtraction.
