Actually I feel that every day is an opportunity to praise God. Through greeting people daily with a "Gloria a Dios" or leaving them with a blessing I

do my best to leave a positive impression

on others. I also appreciate your comments David.

I am not in the American Church so your writing is educating me about it.

I had given up attending the churches I grew up in many years ago.

I am looking forward to your next installment.

Thank you David,

JD

Sorry about you giving up on churches you grew up in. I have found that starting or joining a new church adopting approaches and practices that more directly reflect the historic church and the global church has enlivened my engagement with my faith (once the other distractions are removed.) I suggest everyone do this that is disengaged but still believes.

Thanks for reading, JD, and commenting.

Following your journey with a lot of curiosity and hope! You know from conversations we have had in the past that I have seriously struggled with how the church world measures "success." I really hope these conversations are ones that are being heard and facilitated within TWC.

Hello, Amber.

I do believe those conversations are happening everywhere. With the dramatic decline in numbers at the megachurches in the last 3 years, I've noted even they are "measuring differently."

One prominent example last year:

The conversations are happening where it matters most: peer to peer among church leaders.

Beyond that not sure what conversations matter that actually impact our ministry in big ways.
